.about this "festive" idea` according to me an art center shouldnt be a cold and impersonal place a contemporary art center shouldnt be a place with only objects a contemporary art center should be a place for the LIVINGS to meet to create social-artistical-cultural links So the idea starts with the principle that we dont go to zurich just one day and come back to our respective places But at the contrary, we create during SEVERAL DAYS....let's say one week, 10 days?, two weeks?....a particular TIME-SPACE to be able to SHARE to LIVE EXPERIMENT So maybe we can bring 5 or 6 tents we could say that it is a sort of TAZ (temporary autonomous zone) We could bring some ideas, and see what's happening
for example:
Giulia proposed to make something interactive with the public
We could bring some pins, tshirts, posters, zines, etc. (pins can be done with the infokiosk machine...)
we can propose to the other collectives to have one (or more if the need is felt) meeting / round table and have a discussion about our respective brackgrounds, experiences, opinions...
Maybe i'd like to make a self-derision video about my conception of "PAnamour"
We could organize a party with riot musik
we could have a public diner (popular soup would be for winter;..for spring?)
we could make an everyday zine to document our taz
etc etc...
.about our working conditions:
I think that CONVIVIALITY should be a sinequanone working condition!
Negri and hardt wrote something about affective collaborations....who read it? (i didnt! sorry)
according to my experience, if you work in precarious conditions (for example: we are not paid for that job -and it's not because we are "students" that it's not a lot a work and energy), you should develop human shares, human affection, solidarity...
Working FROM self organisation should also mean EXPERIMENT SELF ORGANISATION so from my experience, self organisation means DIY = DO IT YOURSELF You need a space? ocupe it! You need money? Earn it! (by organising supporting projections, parties, concerts...) You need to contact people? Contact them! (so we can organise events to meet the people who we want to meet!) You need to spread infos? Make your own zine! you need to spread IDEAS? Make your own agit-propaganda (with t-shirts, pins, posters, cards, musik, etc.) you need to LEARN something? organize a WORKSHOP! and so on and so on...
